Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 October 2026

In short

  • remoteScore does not collect, store or sell personal data on our servers.
  • No account, no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking.
  • remoteScore talks directly to digitalScore on your own devices, over your local network or Bluetooth.
  • This website uses no cookies.

1. Who is responsible

The controller for the data described in this policy is Symphonic Hub SL, Pompeu Fabra 16, 17411 Vidreres (Girona), Spain. Email: support@symphonichub.com.

This policy covers the remoteScore iOS app and this website (digitalscore.app/remoteScore). The digitalScore app and the rest of digitalscore.app have their own privacy policy.

2. Data processed on your devices

To work, remoteScore processes some information only on your device and the devices you connect to. None of it is sent to us.

  • Local connection. remoteScore uses Apple’s Multipeer Connectivity framework to find and connect to digitalScore over Wi-Fi, peer-to-peer Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. During the connection your device name is visible to nearby devices running digitalScore (recent iOS versions only share a generic name such as “iPhone”). Access to the local network requires your permission, which you can change at any time in iOS Settings.
  • Score content. Page images, bookmarks, annotations and library information (such as titles and composers) are sent directly from digitalScore to remoteScore so you can see and control the score. They never pass through our servers.
  • Page cache. To show pages faster, remoteScore keeps a temporary copy of received page images in the app’s cache on your iPhone. You can delete it at any time with “Free cache” in the app’s Settings, and it is removed when you delete the app.
  • Settings. Your preferences (for example Screen Autolock, the last connection code used and whether you have seen the welcome screens) are stored on your device only.

3. When you contact us

If you use “Give feedback” or write to support@symphonichub.com, we receive your email address, your message and, in feedback emails, the technical details the app adds to the message (device model, iOS version and app version). You can edit or remove them before sending.

We use this information only to answer you and to fix problems (legal basis: our legitimate interest in providing support, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep it for as long as needed to handle your request and then delete it.

4. Apple services

remoteScore is downloaded from the App Store. Some features open Apple services: rating the app, and showing digitalScore in the App Store. These are provided by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy.

If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymous statistics and crash reports. We cannot identify you from them.

5. This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or third-party fonts and does not load content from other providers. Images and videos are served from our own server.

Like any web server, our hosting provider automatically records technical access data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and referrer) to deliver the site and keep it secure (legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are kept for a limited time and are not used to identify visitors.

Links to the App Store or to digitalScore take you to sites with their own privacy policies.

6. Sharing and transfers

We do not sell, rent or share personal data with third parties, and remoteScore does not transfer any data outside your devices. Emails you send us are stored by our email provider only to handle your request.

7. Children

remoteScore can be used by students of any age because it does not collect personal data. If a minor contacts us by email, we only use the message to reply.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing and to data portability. To exercise them, write to support@symphonichub.com. As remoteScore does not store data on our servers, these rights mainly apply to emails you have sent us.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or with the authority in your country.

9. Changes to this policy

If remoteScore or this website change the way they handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
